How to Configure IP Restriction on your Private SQL Server

By default, there's no network restriction for MS SQL port on the private SQL server.  If you want to restrict access to limited IP, you can do so as follows:

• Log into the control panel.
• Click on the Databases Drop Down Menu in the top navigation.
• Select Private MS SQL.
• Click on Edit next to IP Restriction

When enabling the IP Restriction setting, only the IPs listed in the text box will be allowed to connect to your Private SQL Databases.

This tool supports multiple IPs.  Insert one IP number per line.

Note: You do not need to include the IP address of our web servers.  We automatically whitelist our own servers.
