How to Increase the Number of Sites on Your Plan

Overview

Everleap offers two Shared Cloud plan tiers based on how many sites you need. The Single Site plan hosts one website. The Multi-Site plan hosts up to 5 separate websites. If you need more than 5, additional site slots are added by our Billing Department, after which you can create the sites yourself in the Control Panel.

Where to Check Your Current Limit

Two places show how many sites you have and how many you are allowed:

  1. Click Shared Sites in the top menu. The Shared Cloud Sites Overview page shows Number of Sites as used / allowed, with an Add More Sites link beside it.

  1. Or click your account ID menu (top right) → Plan Info, then the MAX SITES tab. This page shows Current Maximum Sites, the add-on price, and a link to Billing.

Option A: Upgrade from Single Site to Multi-Site

If you are on the Single Site plan and need more than one website, upgrade to the Multi-Site plan. You can do this yourself in the Control Panel.

  1. Click your account ID menu (top right) → Plan Info.
  2. On the Shared Cloud Hosting Plan Overview page you will see your Single site Plan details, and below them an Upgrade to Multi-site Plan button. Click it.

  1. The Upgrade Plan page lists what you get and what it costs. Review it and click Upgrade to confirm.

The Multi-site Cloud Plan gives you:

  • 5 completely separate websites
  • 25 GB of disk space
  • 500 GB bandwidth
  • 5 GB of MS SQL storage / 25 databases
  • 5 GB of MySQL storage / 25 databases

Pricing on the Upgrade Plan screen:

PrepaymentMulti-Site price
Quarterly prepayment$50 per month
Annual prepayment$40 per month

The price is prorated to your billing cycle, so you only pay the difference for the remainder of the term you have already paid for.

Option B: Add more than 5 sites

If you are already on the Multi-Site plan and need more than 5 sites, contact the Everleap Billing Department to request additional site slots. Additional Shared Cloud hosting sites are $20/month per 5 sites, prorated to your billing cycle.

Increasing the maximum number of sites cannot be self-served from the Control Panel — Billing has to provision the slots first.

Adding a New Site Once Slots Are Available

  1. Click Shared Sites in the top menu.
  2. On the Shared Cloud Sites Overview page, click the Add New Site button.
  3. Choose one of the three options:
    • New Domain Name — you want Everleap to register a new domain for you. Click Register New Domain.
    • Existing Domain Name — you already own a domain registered elsewhere. Type it into the Domain Name field and click Add Site.
    • No Domain Name — you do not want to use a domain yet. Click Add Site and you will be assigned a temporary domain name; you can add a primary domain later.

Verify It Worked

The new site appears in the Shared Cloud Sites Overview list with a status of Active, and you can open its Site Overview page from the Manage link.

Notes

  • Each site on the Multi-Site plan gets its own isolated application pool, its own settings and its own deployment credentials.
  • If you need more memory rather than more sites, look at the Power Pack or a Reserved Cloud Server instead — both are on the Plan Info page.
